About
Hi, my name is Leslie and welcome to my page!
I’m former tour professional turned PGA golf coach offering golf lessons in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, NC.
Golf has shaped my life both on and off the course, and I’m passionate about helping players of all levels improve with structured, personalized coaching. Whether you’re brand new to the game, preparing for competition, or looking to practice with more purpose, my goal is to help you gain clarity with your game, develop real skill, and enjoy the process.
I offer private golf lessons in Raleigh at North Ridge Country Club and in Chapel Hill at Finley Golf Club, working with juniors, adults, and competitive players throughout the Triangle area.
Thank you for being here, I hope you enjoy learning a little more about me, and I’d love to help you take the next step in your game.

My Journey I. Junior Golf
I was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, and began playing golf at age 10 at Ternesse Golf & Country Club, where weekends with my parents quickly turned into competitive play.
In Belgium, youth sports are largely self-driven, and golf became my focus. By age 13 I was competing for our regional and national team, traveling across Europe to junior and amateur tournaments.
With the support of Golf Vlaanderen and the Royal Belgian Golf Federation, I began asking a defining question: How good could I get?
-
My Journey II. College Golf
After high school, I pursued that question in the United States, earning a full ride to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2013–2017).
As a student-athlete, I led the UNC Women’s Golf Team in scoring average for three consecutive years while graduating from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
My time in Chapel Hill shaped me not only as a player and student, but as a teammate and leader, and the standards, culture, and relationships I built there continue to influence how I compete and coach today.

My Journey III. Professional Golf
I turned professional immediately after graduation and spent five seasons full-time competing on the LPGA Epson Tour, the official qualifying tour for the LPGA Tour, with one season on the Ladies European Tour.
Those years were defined by resilience, travel, and growth, including one LPGA Tour start at Lake Merced Golf Club, where I narrowly missed the cut by a single stroke.
Life on tour sharpened my discipline and deepened my respect for the process. More importantly, it reinforced a powerful truth: consistent high performance doesn’t happen alone and behind every great player is structure, support, and intentional coaching.

My Journey IV. Golf Professional
As a dual PGA and LPGA Class A Professional, my credentials reflect a deep commitment to the game and to the players I serve. These certifications are more than letters after my name, they represent a promise of quality coaching, professionalism, and a dedication to the golf industry.
Continued Education Certifications:
US Kids Level 2 | SwingCatalyst | Trackman | WedgeMatrix | Grey Institute | Stack & Tilt | PDI | TPI | PGA Hope | Vision54
Awards & Recognition:
Carolinas PGA Women’s Player of the Year (2024 - 2025)

Coaching Philosophy
I believe golf is a lifelong journey of improvement and connection. My coaching philosophy is built on two core principles.
Learning: Every lesson is personalized to your goals, whether you’re just getting started or a tour veteran. We start with impact: How is contact? What is the ball doing? From there, we work backward to refine setup and motion. When you focus on change, results will come. The first step to change is learning.
Community: Golf is better when shared. I strive to create an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and inspired, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie on the golf course where every player feels welcomed.
Helping students gain clarity, improve with intention, and build lasting relationships is the most rewarding part of what I do. If you're serious about getting better and looking for golf lessons in Raleigh or Chapel Hill, let’s get to work!
